Vegan for a week...

Those of you that follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram already know that I went Vegan this week. I have been having some health issues and in light of all the food and health documentaries I have been watching I thought I'd do an experiment on myself. I'm already pretty certain that most dairy foods are the culprit, but I thought why not just wipe the slate clean and see how my body responds. I have to admit, I had to get a little creative to keep this week yummy, but it wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it would be. Here are some of the yummy things I ate this week...

Delish Red Navel Oranges

Quinoa pasta, asparagus and mushrooms

Rainbow Chard
Delish Navy beans

Brown rice, navy beans and rainbow chard

Veggie fried rice

Yummy garden salad

Wild mushroom Agnolotti

Mini Peach turnovers
