Midweek (Healthy) Eats

Happy hump day!

Midweek eats is getting a makeover! It will now be "Midweek Healthy Eats" and I will be posting it over at Quarterlife Kenya's blog Space and Silence each Wednesday. Her blog is geared toward the quarterlifer and the struggles that come along with the wrath of the 20's and early 30's. Her goal in bringing on new contributors is to share ways to help people feel good on the inside and out. That is were I come in.  I will be focusing on helping you choose the right foods and teaching you healthy and delicious ways to prepare them.  Here are some of the topics I will be discussing:

  • High Vibration Foods vs. Low Vibration Foods
  • Clean Eating
  • Healthy cooking techniques: Steaming, roasting, baking, poaching, blanching, broiling and cooking in parchment.
  • Quick healthy and cheap meals: 30 minutes or less, $10 dollars or less
  • Healthy versions of unhealthy favorites
  • Snacks
  • Food and Depression

Are there any topics not listed that you would like me to discuss? Leave a comment below or tweet me at @citrus_catering.

Make sure you check it out every Wednesday! Enjoy the rest of your hump day. See you back here on Friday for "What's for dinner".
